In case you haven't noticed... and if you live in the panhandle, how could you not?... it snowed a bit in north Idaho on Thursday. A good friend who lives in Spokane sent me a photograph and said, "see that bump in the snow? That's our Honda."
Thus (not surprisingly), a lot of prep action scheduled for this weekend has been postponed/cancelled.
Most notably, the annual Fight for the Fish at Lake City High School, the yearly spirit clash between LC and in-city rival Coeur d'Alene.
The Couer d'Alene Press has a roundup of cancellations they know of here.
Will it affect the Tri-State wrestling tournament this weekend at North Idaho College? Haven't heard that it's been called off... but it could be tough for some schools to travel into the area. If we hear something, we'll post it.

Dear Desk Jock,
What are your thoughts on supposed Eastern Idaho supremacy in all athletics all the time, no matter
the sport?
The North has great schools and the South part of the state has the most numbers from which to draw
their talent from, so what gives with this skewed perception?
