2A Rankings
Paul -- seriously? you voted for Valley and Kamiah over Malad. I'm not from Malad, but I've seen them play twice -- against Declo (the only team to challenge Declo thus far) and against Soda (which Malad dominated). Malad's only 2 losses are against Declo and Marsh Valley -- two undefeated and potential state champions in 2A and 3A. And historically, teams from District 1, 2 and 4 haven't performed well in the state tournament. I've seen games in every district but one this year, and the cream of the 2A crop is definitely Parma, Declo, Malad and West Side.

Black and Blue Bowl
Once again IdahoSports.com has shown its bias by not showing the most intense and exciting game of the year, keep up the good work.

paul this is the best job you've done in the voting all year, finally you put kamiah in your top 5, by the end of the year they will finish in the real top 5. also, good job on puting declo in the #1 spot.

I know this is going to be really long...but here goes... You know...I would love to do that game too, but after receiving permission from the Poky District AD in August to web cast every game played at Holt Arena this year, we were then told the first week of September that he changed his mind and decided that we would NOT be allowed to do any of the games there. He gave several interesting reasons why he changed his mind, but he said the main reason was that the radio stations have webcasting rights built into their radio contracts. That is something I TOTALLY understand and respect. I was totally ok with it at that point. Sucked that we weren't told that in August, but that's ok. But then several games from Holt Arena this year were broadcast on the Internet by another company, even though we had been told it was against the rights of the radio stations. REPEATED emails and phone calls to the Poky AD asking for clarification as to why, have been to this point ignored and unreturned. We were really looking forward to webcasting all the Highland, Poky and Century games this year, including this one. From what I was told by the parents, fans and coaching staffs, they were excited too. If it is a matter of previous rights and contracts held by someone else, that's understandable. But when another company is allowed to broadcast somewhere when you were told it was impossible to allow it, something very fishy is going on somewhere. Like I said before, since we hold the exclusive broadcast rights to the state tournament games, we will be at Holt Arena for the state playoffs and State Championship games just like we have been for the past 4 years. I am sure we will see all 3 Pocatello schools there. Sorry....

2A vs. 3A
if glenns ferry is supposed to be considered so tough i think they should've been able to keep the score alot closer than they did against buhl. i've said all along they are overated. that loss needs to put them out of the top 5 ranks next week, no top 5 team should ever get beaten that bad by anyone, i don't care what classification they come from, that's an absolute beating they took and it should tell everybody that they been getting too much recognition all year long. now it's time to move kamiah up a few more spots.

In Glenns Ferry's defense, they were minus three of their best players against Buhl. I doubt they would have won even if those players had played, but it would have been a much closer game.
