As a team, what are your offensive strengths?
Our strength on offense will be having a balanced attack between running and throwing. Our offensive line should be a strength anchored by Adam Shawver at Center.

Offensive areas you hope to improve on over last year:
The team only averaged 8 points a game last year, so it’s pretty simple, we have to be more effective moving the ball and scoring.

As a team, what are your defensive strengths?
We will be a multiple front aggressive defense; our strength will be in our linebackers led by Zach Sharp.

Defensive Areas you hope to improve on over last year:
We have to improve fundamentally as tacklers and playmakers on defense.

Does your team have a motto/theme for the upcoming season?
“Building champions in the classroom, on the field, and for life!”

What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team?
We have many new players coming back to the game, and our off season program has had very high attendance.

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
We are a young inexperience team, our success hinges on how fast the team as a whole can learn the fundamentals of the game.

Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school football?
The life changing impact that football has on the players, football mirrors life more than any other sport. And for 99% of the players, the game ends when their high school career is over, so high school is the only opportunity for them to learn the lessons the game teaches.
