As a team, what are your offensive strengths?
Being new this year for the boys, my offensive philosophy is focused more on team play, getting everyone involved, patience and working for the best possible look each possession.

Offensive areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Being my first year, the area we need to improve on will be working with the players to adjust to a new system and new coaching staff. The program lost a large percentage of their offensive weapons from last year and we will have to find athletes to fill some needed roles.

As a team, what are your defensive strengths?
Our main strength is that with a new system, we have a lot to learn and a core group of players that are willing to learn.

Defensive Areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Again, with a new coaching staff and system, the players will have to adjust, learn and apply new concepts and ideas defensively –which may take some time. The goal is to learn the system, apply it and have everything in place once tournament time starts.

What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team?
This year’s program lacks some varsity experience, but we have a dedicated core group of players that work extremely hard and over achieve.

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
Learning new defensive concepts and then having players buy into a new philosophy. If there is buy in and commitment, we will have success.
