We have a lot of talented broadcasters here at IdahoSports.com. We have some guys that have done radio for over 30 years. We have other guys that have been TV sports anchors. We even have one guy that's done professional hockey. And one Canadian. Oddly enough, they aren't the same guy. At the end of the day though, we are all in it for the same reason - the thrill of covering high school sports.
When it comes to making assignments each year, we don't just put everyone's name on a dart board to see who does what classification. We do actually put a little thought in to it.
This year, the broadcasts for state basketball on IdahoSports.com will be different than they've ever been. Instead of watching the games and listening to quality commentary like you have for over a decade, our broadcasters will instead use their trained, silky-smooth, voices to paint the picture radio-style, letting you the listener envision the video inside your head.
No other broadcast group will have as much talent covering these games as we will. We thought it would be cool if we gave you a head up ahead of time who will be covering your team when they make it to state.
