Who do you have coming back this year?
D’Rae Tullock – Post – Senior – 6’0” Allison Cossins – Post – Senior – 5’10” Maddie Brown – Guard – Senior – 5’8”

Any Returning Players with Honors?
D’Rae was 1st team all-conference and 1st team Idaho Statesman All-State

Any “Key Players” that you lost from last year?
We lost Maya Ah You, and 4A player of the year, Celeste Pantoja, our point guard, who signed with CSI, and Mattaea Cooper, who signed with Corbin University. These girls were all college level perimeter players that were excellent all-around players. They will be extremely difficult to replace.

Do you have any new incoming “impact” players?
We have some girls who we we will need to step in and step up. They’re impact will determine the success of our season. Parker Curtis, a 5’3” senior, will start at point guard, and Kristine Lawson will start at the shooting guard position.

As a team, what are your offensive strengths?
Because we have two posts, D’Rae and Allison, returning as 3 year starters, we will try to get them the ball as much as we can. We will count on them both to be not only scorers but good decision makers and passers.

Offensive areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Offensively last year, we were very strong. We will focus improving our perimeter game throughout the season.

As a team, what are your defensive strengths?
Again, because we veteran posts, we will put a lot of pressure on the ball and count on D’Rae and Allison to protect the basket.

Defensive Areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Again, we hope to improve our perimeter defense throughout the season.

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
Our new players will need to improve because we were hurt by graduation to a much greater extent than the other top teams in our conference.
