Passing game needs to improve, and should, with accurate passer in Saige Wiilkerson

Rush defense is solid with Daniel Heck and a host of physical linebackers.

Pass defense should improve, but has been average in past.

Commitment! “Championships are made when the stadium is empty”


What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team?
More experienced!

Fruitland…because it’s Fruitland!

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
Players continuing to buy in and be accountable with each other! Continuing to be more prepared.

If you could change one rule in high school football, what would it be?
Spearing/leading with the head/personal foul/unnecessary roughness! To many variables, promotes ambiguity in making correct call.

Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school football?
I like the pain!

What makes your school the best place to coach for?
It’s the most challenging but rewarding place to work and coach!
