Notus returns four players, including senior swingman Kobe Zimmerman, to anchor what could be a quality season under veteran small-school coach John Conner, who is in his first season at Notus.

Also returning are senior guard Nick Morgan, guard Caleb Zimmerman and point guard Jacob Gudino. Conner says he is excited about the opportunity to work with the Pirates basketball team, adding that rebounding will be the big key to the team’s improvement. Beyond that, much is a mystery this early in the coach’s tenure.
