Liberty Charter went 19-4 last season and hopes to keep up the high win total in 2015-16. The Patriots return 13 players with varsity experience, including all-conference honoree Erika Linford.

First-year Liberty Charter coach Brad McCain says his team’s experience and basketball IQ will be huge assets to the squad this season, as well as the ability to do what is needed to win games. But the Patriots will need to improve on the offensive glass for more second-chance points and on team defense to limit opportunities at the other end.

The motto for Liberty Charter this season is “Finish It”, after the Patriots went to the state tournament but were done in two games last season. The recipe is there for a nice run if they can get back to state.
