Holt Arena is set to host four state championship football games this weekend, beginning on Friday afternoon. With four games being played inside the dome covering four classifications, the schedule will be split into two sessions spanning two days.

Highland and Coeur d'Alene will open the festivities with a showdown for the 5A State Championship with the kickoff slated for 5:30 pm MT on Friday. Their clash will be followed by the 4A State Championship game at 8:15 pm MT between Skyline and Minico.

The doors will open at 4:30 pm for the public, at which time ticket sales will begin at the door. Fans can purchase tickets ahead of time by calling the Holt Arena box office at 208-282-3267 starting on Thursday. The box office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 pm. Fans are encouraged to buy tickets in advance to avoid long lines. Tickets cost $8 for adults and $7 for seniors and students with a school ID. Children 5 & under get in for free. Tickets can also be purchased online at any time.

Both sides of Holt Arena will be open for spectator seating. Fans of Highland and Minico are assigned to seating on the north side of the arena. Fans of Coeur d'Alene and Skyline are assigned to seating on the south side of the arena. Spectators will be allowed to cross the field via the walkway behind the west end zone. No crossing of the field is allowed via the east end zone.

On Saturday, the championship slate of games will continue beginning at 12:00 p.m. as Snake River takes on Fruitland in the 3A State Championship. Then, the final high school football game of the 2017 season will take place as Declo and Firth will tussle in the 2A State Championship at 2:45 pm.

The doors at Holt Arena will open at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday to the public. Ticket prices remain the same as Friday. Only the north side of Holt Arena will be open for spectator seating. There will be signs on the north side doors and in the tunnels indicating which side of the north side stands fans should sit.

As always, we encourage you to come support your team in person. If you can't be there, you can listen to all six state championship games LIVE and FREE right here on IdahoSports.com.
