As a team, what are your offensive strengths?
I think this group plays good team offense. They move well without the ball and communicate effectively.

Offensive areas you hope to improve on over last year:
I want the kids to keep things simple and just play basketball. They should do a better job at learning what a defense is giving them and taking advantage of that. I would also like them to capitalize on our advantages and mismatches more.

As a team, what are your defensive strengths?
TEAM. We want to have everyone working together, communicating, and helping each other out.

Defensive Areas you hope to improve on over last year:
I want the kids to be more aggressive and really try to take offenses out of their rhythm. We want to work on consistency with intensity.

Does your team have a motto/theme for the upcoming season?
TEAM

What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team?
The group of seniors have played together for a long time and I want to see them work together to be successful.

For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule?
Salmon River is the defending state champions

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
I think we need to be more consistent on offense and defense and avoid let downs.

If you could change one rule in high school basketball, what would it be?
I don’t know if I would change any rule.

Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school basketball?
Love it. I like the competition, I like the sport, I like everything.

What makes your school the best place to coach for?
Coaching the kids is easy because they like to play basketball all the time. We have great community and school support as well.
