The Vallivue Lady Falcons are coming off back-to-back 5-17 seasons. The Falcons will try and rally this season by bringing back an abundance of upperclassman, including Senior wing, Ashlyn Woodruff, Senior guard, Dani Cichosz, and Junior post Candida Eldridge Jr. Woodruff and Elderidge were the Falcons leading scorers last season, and they hope their experience from last season will help propel them to be better leaders and scorers for the 2014-15 campaign.

The Falcons won’t be one of the tallest teams in the 5A SIC conference this season, but they very well could be one of the quickest.

Vallivue is coached by third year coach Neil Stutzman, who likes to run an up-tempo offense and likes to play man to man pressure defense.

“Our quickness and experience should treat us well this season. The team knows the offense, and as long as we bring our energy every night we will be in a lot of games.”

Where Coach Stutzman wants to see improvement this year is at the free-throw line and scoring more points on a nightly basis.

The Falcons only scored 38 points a game last year, but with their top two scorers from last season coming back, and Junior guard Holle Raymond coming back after an ACL tear, they should be primed and ready to improve that number drastically this season.

GAMES TO WATCH: Vallivue vs. Nampa @ Nampa – January 10th. Vallivue and Nampa will only meet once this season due to the new Pod system.
