ORDER GAME PHOTOS

Each week there are countless quality efforts put up by teams and individuals throughout the state of Idaho. Below are some of the top performances from the state during the week of February 4-February 9.

We try our best to include as many different parts of the state as possible in this list of ten. If you don't see your player listed below, don't worry, we will keep combing through the stats each week to add new faces to the list!

So without further ado, and in no particular order, here is the fourth version of the "Sven's Ten" list, featuring top efforts from across the Gem State last week.

SVEN’S TEN
-Watersprings senior guard Landon Bowman set the school record for points in a game with 41 in an 83-24 blowout win over the Clark County Bobcats. Bowman also went 7-11 from 3-point range.

-Madison Hodnett of Liberty Charter helped lead her team to state with multiple big performances last week including 19 points and 18 rebounds in a win over Ambrose.

-Moscow’s Gabe Quinnett continued to remain on fire for the Bears with 33 points in a 66-61 overtime win over Lewiston on Tuesday. Quinnett also had 30 later in the week against Prairie.

-In an overtime win against Shoshone, Hagerman’s Bryant Osborne scored 33 points. Osborne had 26 earlier in the week to lead the Pirates over Castleford.

-Coming up clutch at the right time, Grace’s Maniah Clegg had 15 points, 17 rebounds and eight blocks in the Grizzlies 45-37 defeat of Butte County in the district championship game.

-Bear Lake, the two-time defending 2A state champion, utilized Trey Shaul’s 34 points on Friday to secure the top seed into the district tournament thanks to a 62-51 win over Soda Springs.

-Pocatello had an upset on its mind when Preston came to town on Friday, but the Indians managed to squeak by with a 78-75 overtime victory in large part due to the 38 points scored by Ty Hyde, a career high according to the Idaho State Journal.

-Freshman Hailey Cheney helped #3 seed Kellogg to a win over #2 seed Bonners Ferry in the first round of the 3A District 1 tournament with 22 points and 13 rebounds. The Wildcats take on the Badgers again on Monday night at 6 p.m. PT to decide the final berth in the 3A state tournament. In other action in the north, Genesis Prep’s Bella Murekatete dominated the interior against Clark Fork with 28 points and Lakeside’s Tommia Pakootas had 24 second half points and finished with 28 in total for the Knights in a win over Kootenai. The Lady Jags would then defeat Lakeside later in the week to secure a spot in the state tournament.

-Butte County’s Bridger Hansen (27 points, seven 3-pointers) and Mackay’s Chase Green (26 points, six 3-pointers) both got hot from distance in an 81-48 win for the Miners.
