I've been getting a lot of emails from wrestling fans lately asking why IdahoSports.com doesn't provide rankings for their sport. Well, we do. Sort of.

In case you weren't aware, we have been providing wrestling fans with their very own web site for the last 6 or 7 years -www.IdahoWrestlingNews.com. IWN has user-submitted results for duals and tournaments, action photos, chat rooms, web casts and of course, rankings.

If you haven't had a chance before now to check out IdahoWrestlingNews.com, today is your lucky day. The updated rankings came out this morning. 5A, 4A, 3A, 2A/1A and even a state-wide Top 10 Power Ranking that lumps everyone all together, both teams and individual wrestlers.

You can check out this week's rankings here.

(Idaho actually has four wrestlers who are ranked nationally. Casey George (Lewiston) is ranked #20 at 145lb, Kolby Kloetzer (Caldwell) is ranked #5 at 152, Taylor West (Borah) is ranked #20 at 160lb and Tanner Hall (Meridian HS) is ranked #1 at 215.)

In other wrestling news....this weekend IWN is dipping their collective toes into the previously unknown realm of pay-per-view. For the first time ever, IWN will be providing exclusive two-day coverage of the Tiger-Grizz Wrestling Tournament at Skyline High School for only $9.95 that includes access to both days of the web cast. Hopefully Bill Brown and myself aren't broadcasting two days of great wrestling action to three people. :-)

You can register for access to watch the web cast here: Register for PPV
