A pair of sophomores claimed first place at the Moscow Golf Invitational, held on September 8th at the University of Idaho Golf Course.

Coeur d'Alene's Ben Focke carded a 4-under-par total of 68 to claim the boys' first place medal.  His Coeur d'Alene teammate, and fellow sophomore, Ella Wilson, won the girls' title with a 4-over-par score of 76.

The Coeur d'Alene Press reports that Coeur d'Alene won both team titles as well.  The Viking boys finished with a total of 304.  Lewiston took second in the boys race with a 315, nine strokes back of the Vikings.

The Coeur d'Alene girls won by 47 strokes over second place Lake City by shooting a total of 325.
