2025-26 Nominees & Winners

The North Idaho Athletic Hall of Fame is set to host its 2026 Awards Banquet on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the Coeur d'Alene Resort.

The event serves as a recognition to all of the outstanding high school athletes from North Idaho, as well as the legends who are being inducted into the Hall of Fame.

This year's event features four inductees that will ultimately be part of the 56th annual Hall of Fame class:

Jake Scott - Scott is a 1999 graduate of Lewiston High, where he played football and threw shot put and discus during track and field season. He then walked on to the University of Idaho football team and started 46 games at weak-side offensive tackle for the Vandals before playing for four different teams over ten years in the NFL.

A.J. Christoff - A native of Ritzville, Washington, Christoff played offensive and defensive line at the University of Idaho in the mid-1960s before embarking upon a 45-year coaching career. He was a defensive coordinator for 18 seasons and was on conference-winning staffs in the SEC, Pac-12, Conference-USA and Big Sky.

Corky Fazio - Fazio arrived in Lewiston in the 1970s as a baseball player at Lewis-Clark State College. After his playing career, he served as an assistant baseball coach for Hall of Fame LCSC coach Ed Cheff, and has officiated high school football, basketball and baseball games for more than 40 years.

Roger Stewart - Stewart has dedicated more than 40 years to athletics in north Idaho as an official. He officiated for 12 years in the Arena Football League and served as an NCAA and Big Sky Conference football referee, where he officiated three FCS national semifinal games. Stewart is currently a replay official for the Big Sky.

In addition to the Hall of Fame ceremonies, 52 different awards will be given out to various athletes, coaches and teams across the high school and college sports landscape in North Idaho.
