BOISE, ID (10/29/2016) – The strong fall season continued Thursday and Friday for IdahoSports.com as the website totaled more than 50,000 live viewers for eleven web casts between the two nights.

Ten of the eleven games were playoff football games. The eleventh, Lapwai at Prairie, was a conference championship game. All told, the games drew 54,750 live viewers – an average of nearly 5,000 viewers per game.

IdahoSports.com has one more game scheduled for Saturday when the top-ranked 2A team in Idaho, St. Maries, hosts Melba at 1 PM (Pacific). The event will be broadcast free of charge.

The 3A playoff matchup between Shelley and Sugar Salem led the way with 8,170 live viewers. The 2A game between South Fremont and American Falls surpassed 7,000 live viewers (7,038) while the 5A game between Mountain View and Rigby (5,913) and the 4A game between Sandpoint and Emmett (5,532) both topped 5,500 live viewers.

We're obviously very happy,” IdahoSports.com CEO Paul Kingsbury said. “The fans continue to be so receptive and supportive of our broadcasts.”

With all six classifications of high school football now in the postseason, games will be scheduled on a week-to-week basis, based on crew availability.

We're going to do as many as we can,” Kingsbury said. “There are so many great match-ups coming up across the state and we want to show as many of them as possible.”
