Three days of tense, tight playoff football meant another big weekend for IdahoSports.com as more than 140,000 live viewers watched live webcasts from all over the state between Thursday and Saturday.

IdahoSports.com had ten different broadcast teams doing live webcasts from ten different locations over the three days, covering 19 games and providing free broadcasts for 143,144 viewers around the world.

“When we get an e-mail from someone in the Mariana Islands, Spain or even 'all the little Tiger fans at Juliaetta elementary school', thanking us for giving them an easy way to watch their family or friends, that makes the effort worth it,” IdahoSports.com CEO/Owner Paul Kingsbury said. “Every week, one of our crews gets an e-mail that makes us all say, ‘we had viewers there?’”

Friday’s 5A quarterfinal matchup between Rocky Mountain and Lewiston led the way with 17,328 live viewers.  Another 5A quarterfinal, Highland hosting Mountain View, drew 15,339 viewers and Coeur d’Alene’s visit to Eagle in another 5A matchup garnered 13,731 viewers.  A 4A tilt between Skyline and Emmett generated 13,419 viewers.  Each of the 19 live broadcasts drew at least 3,000 viewers.

“The tournament managers, the host venues, the coaches, they’ve all been so supportive,” Kingsbury said. “And the end result is a great product for the fans, wherever they may be watching.”

Kingsbury said that IdahoSports.com expects to provide live and free audio-only broadcasts of all 12 semifinal games next weekend as well as all six state championship games the weekend of November 18-19.  The schedule of games will be updated HERE as game dates, times and locations are finalized by the schools, the venues and the Idaho High School Activities Association.
