We shot 30% from the field last yr. and need to improve.
Defensive Areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Get better playing man to man.
Does your team have a motto/theme for the upcoming season?
We have put a lot of focus on the mental aspect of the game. Attitude, focus, preparation etc...
What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team?
Returning a group of young players to see how they can progress from last season.
What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
Shooting a higher percentage than last year.
If you could change one rule in high school basketball, what would it be?
Shot clock
Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school basketball?
Love the kids. Everyday I come to practice looking forward to interacting with great kids.
What makes your school the best place to coach for?
? The kids, admin, staff and parents are all supportive. I see a lot of coaches at other schools who don't have the admin or parents support and it makes their job difficult. I feel very fortunate to coach in Weiser.
