As a team, what are your offensive strengths?
We have our scoring leaders from last year returning. Rammell and Smith have lots of experience, both have the ability to score. They are both great outside shooters, and have the ability to go to the basket at will. Kincaid is solid in the paint and has a great mid range jumper.

Offensive areas you hope to improve on over last year:
I hope as a coach, we will be able to make smart decisions and control the tempo of the game. We hope to focus on cutting down turnovers, and getting good shots every possession.

As a team, what are your defensive strengths?
Rammell is a great defender with the ability to defend the full length of the court. Megan Mason, Shelby Kincaid, Jenna Abbott, and Sabrina Kaufman all bring a great presence in the key with help from Heather Smith, Chandler Sachse, Kylie Walker, and Tayler Arnold on the perimeter.

What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team?
? I am excited about our teams enthusiasm, and willingness to work. They are hard workers and have high expectations. It will be exciting to see them come together as a team and see them reach their goals.

For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule?
Don’t miss any of them. Every team on our schedule has good players, and is coached well. Any game any night could turn out to be a game of the year. Hopefully, the must see game will be the third game in Boise.

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
We have to be healthy.

If you could change one rule in high school basketball, what would it be?
The emphasis on the coaching box rule this year could be a challenge. I like to be involved during the game as much as possible.

Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school basketball?
I do it for the girls! I enjoy getting to know them, and watching them improve and succeed. It’s always exciting!

What makes your school the best place to coach for?
Who wouldn’t want to coach the Redskins!
