As a team, what are your offensive strengths?
Balance. With Kyler Harris going to Tyler Powell in the air and the line opening holes for Chase Bowen on the ground we feel like we can consistently take what the defense gives us to move the ball down the field.

Offensive areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Cut back on the negative plays. Turnovers, penalties, and missed blocks killed a lot of drives for us last year.

As a team, what are your defensive strengths?
We have solid group of linebackers coming back with Chase Bowen, Tyler Powell, and Tate Yager. They stuff the run, pressure the QB, and hustle to the ball.

Defensive Areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Stopping the big play which usually means trusting your teammates enough to do their job that you are only concerned with doing your job.

Does your team have a motto/theme for the upcoming season?
It’s not every Friday; it’s every day.

What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team?
The opportunity that they have to be something special.

For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule?
Take your pick they’re all fun. It’s high school football.

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
Coming together as a team and trusting in each other.

If you could change one rule in high school football, what would it be?
No fair catches on punts. If you’re afraid to catch it then let it bounce.

Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school football?
The opportunity to teach daily self improvement to young men is a fulfilling opportunity and a great responsibility and requires that I practice what I preach. I love the opportunity to challenge young men and myself.

What makes your school the best place to coach for?
Strong support from the school administration and community. Working with people who make it enjoyable to come to work every day.
