As a team, what are your offensive strengths? I am real excited about the experience and depth of our line. With Nate at the QB spot and Joe and Collin back at the receiver positions I think we have some good threats catching the ball.
Offensive areas you hope to improve on over last year: We need to put up more points this year. Points transfer into more wins.
As a team, what are your defensive strengths? All but 2 starters are returning! Matt Whitworth, Nate Adamson, Joe Parke, Parker Gamino and Toby Whitworth will help us attack in a variety of ways and bring us stability.
Defensive Areas you hope to improve on over last year: Better tackling, cause more turnovers, and better communication.
What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team? We have some good numbers again to work with and lots of experience in this years team. That has always taken us deep in the post-season.
For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule? If we play like we should and is expected of ourselves we hope to be undefeated coming into the Lighthouse Game in Carey and challenge for the Conference Title. But, every game is a battle and we will see.
What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team? If we play as a team and play together that's all we need to have the most success possible.
If you could change one rule in high school football, what would it be? Running the ball out of the end zone. So the special teams part of the game can actually be played out.
Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school football? I love these kids and I love how you can see them grow-up in a variety of ways as they come through the ranks.
What makes your school the best place to coach for? We have a lot of tradition here and that's makes for great fan support and enthusiastic kids.
