As a team, what are your offensive strengths?
We will be very good on offense. We run a no-huddle spread attack and have lots of experience returning. Our kids understand the system and have had a fantastic summer working to improve.

Offensive areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Always can work to improve ball security and eliminate penalties. I think going even faster is a possibility too.

As a team, what are your defensive strengths?
We like the athletes we have on defense. There will be some new faces but there is talent and toughness. Our strength would be the athleticism of our kids. We aren’t big but can run.

Defensive Areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Increase our takeaways and play more aggressive. Decrease the number of points we gave up.

Does your team have a motto/theme for the upcoming season?
Our 2014 motto is RISE. In other words go a little further in everything we do.

What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team?
Great team chemistry and work ethic

For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule?
Madison because it is the first game.

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
Continue to improve daily.

If you could change one rule in high school football, what would it be?
I would like to see Idaho re-work how they seed the state playoffs.

Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school football?
Relationships with the players and coaches.

What makes your school the best place to coach for?
Tradition and the type of kids we get to coach on a daily basis. Great support from our administration and parents too.
