IdahoSports.com has announced its coverage plans for the 2019 State Baseball Tournaments, including live video broadcasts of each game, updated brackets throughout all three days and high quality photo galleries of the action.

The tournaments are scheduled to run May 16-18 for the 2A-5A classifications, with the 1A tournament taking place May 17-18.

Sven Alskog will call the 5A action from Memorial Stadium in Boise, the home of the Boise Hawks. This is Sven's third year covering a state baseball tournament for IdahoSports.com after previously handling play-by-play duties for the Kitsap BlueJackets of the West Coast League. Gary Jones is set to broadcast the 5A games scheduled at Capital High School on Thursday.

From Vallivue High School in Caldwell, Scott Burton will man the mic for yet another 4A tournament. Scott has been on the call for this tournament right from the start and knows the stories behind all the teams and coaches. A former sports anchor, he possesses over 20 years of experience.

Lorin Jensen gets the assignment for the 3A state tournament this year, which will mark his first baseball tournament for IdahoSports.com after over a decade of handling basketball and football coverage. The 3A tournament will take place from Melaleuca Field in Idaho Falls, which also serves as the home of the Idaho Falls Chukars of the Pioneer League. Jensen will be joined by Lance Taylor on color commentary for the entirety of the tournament.

The 2A tournament moves up north to Orofino this year, where Paul Kingsbury will be high atop the action from the home of the Maniacs. This is the third straight year that Paul will be making the trek northward to cover state baseball. Paul has been broadcasting high school sports since Sven was still in elementary school.

In the 1A ranks, Glenns Ferry will be playing host to its first ever state baseball tournament. Lucas Gebhart will have the call for all of the action from the home of the Pilots. An Idaho State University graduate, Lucas has been to 30 Major League Baseball parks and is broadcasting his third straight baseball tournament for IdahoSports.com.
