Conference Record Last Year: 4-0

Head Coach: Cory Hollingsworth
Years as Head Coach: 8
Previous Experience: 6
Assistant Coaches: Joe Ingersoll, Derek Jolley, Wayne Adams

Returning Varsity Players: 6

Returning Offensive Starters:
LB Antonio Medina, Sr., 6-2, 230.

Returning Defensive Starters:
DB Wade Wahlen, Sr., 6-0, 150.

Key Players Lost:
Trevor Spence, RB/LB; Bo Duffin, QB; Cody Snyder, RB/DB; Kendell Foster, OL/OLB; Gary Hollingsworth, OL; Nick Wynn, TE/LB/P.

Incoming JV Players:
Austin George, RB/LB; Jake Ponce, WR/DB; Cody O'Brien, QB/DB; Greg Bartholoma RB/OLB.

Offensive strengths/areas for improvement:
Strengths: Solid OL with some skilled kids. We should have a very good running game, with some threats deep. Weaknesses: Experience and depth will be an issue.

Defensive strengths/areas for improvement:
Strengths: Should be solid at every position with good size and speed. Weaknesses: We will be undersized at linebacker. Experience and depth.

Special team Strengths:
We will have to replace both our kickers and our snapper.

Offensive Outlook:
The offense will be centered around Greg Bartholoma at Fullback. He will be a force up the middle. Giving the offense a threat on the outside will be Wade Wahlen, Austin George, and Jake Ponce. A starting QB will have to be determined from either senior Cody O'Brien or junior Jaiden Beck. The line also has lots of potential, but will have a lot of work to do.

Defensive Outlook:
Up front we will have some size and ability, but no experience. Antonio Medina, Ty Wahlen, Luis Palacios, Derek Moser, and Juan Rivas should be able to give us some toughness. The linebacking corps is centered around Austin George and Greg Bartholoma. While a little undersized, they do have plenty of potential. The secondary should be in good hands with Wade Wahlen at safety and Jake Ponce at corner. Depth and experience could be a problem.

Conference Outlook:
Once again the 5th District will be tough. Malad will probably have the most talent. They do have to replace most of their line and several key skill players. West Side is always tough, but will have to win without Coach Henderson for the first time in several decades. Grace only loses three players and should be able to compete. Soda will have several holes to fill.

Coach's Team Outlook:
We will have to replace nearly every position on offense and defense. Our JV does have a lot of talent and was undefeated last year. Those players will have to get varsity experience on the run. There will need to be a lot of learning to take place before this team hits its stride.

Coach's Team Summary:
This team is determined to come out of the shadow of last year's seniors. Last year's group was always the team that was going to make history. This year's group has a chip on their shoulders. They will certainly be out to prove themselves!
