Offensive strengths/areas for improvement:
Offensively, we are greatly improved in terms of skill players, experience, and one-way linemen. Our scheme is built upon speed.

Defensive strengths/areas for improvement:
We will employ a higher energy scheme built upon movement and smaller players in a more aggressive mode.

Special team Strengths:
Higher risk predicated upon speed. Aggressive mentality in all phases.

Offensive Outlook:
We're excited about our play-making possibilities related to speed and aggression. Our guys know what we're trying to do and are catching on quickly. We'll be fun to watch.

Defensive Outlook:
We're not very big but, again, have good team speed. The question is can we stop the run consistently? It's going to be fun to see our guys attacking constantly on defense. Our secondary will be the key as we bring everyone else ... the interior eight, the coaches, waterboys, and filmers. We're bringing it all!

Conference Outlook:
It's a tough conference with some very consistent play from top to bottom. We have competed well in the past but kind of dipped last year in the win column. I was proud of the way our kids competed in a very competent conference. We'll play in a number of homecomings ... and we'll do our best to ruin a few!

Coach's Team Outlook:
We're very excited about a great group of student athletes who did great things in camp. We aren't big and are growing accustomed to utilizing speed concepts in all areas. We will compete with everyone; we always do. The real question is in the area of matchups ... speed vs size. We have good team speed and will compete in that context. We look forward to all of our games.

Coach's Team Summary:
We're very excited about the opportunities before us. We have speed and feel we can compete. We have schemes that fit our kids and are excited to put the product on the field. September can't come soon enough!
