Offensive strengths/areas for improvement:
Our offensive strength will live or die by our senior ballcarrier Jesse Davis. He's quick and a dangerous runner and reciever. Jake Walker and Chris Squires are great blockers with great hands, so we'll look to involve them in the offense as well. Our junior FB Cody Charley is a bruiser in a small package, so we will be looking for him to contribute as well.

Defensive strengths/areas for improvement:
Our goal this season is to sneak in and grab that third playoff spot. Our defense is going to have to improve to stop the explosive offenses in our league. Nearly our entire defense returns from last season, and I really believe these guys will raise some eyebrows this season.

Conference Outlook:
Prairie has to be the favorite, hands down. They have a great coaching staff and an incredible returning cast to repeat. Darrah Eggers in Deary always has his kids ready to go and should be tough, as is Troy. Look for Lapwai, Kendrick, and Lewis County to be improved from last season. Don't count out the Rams, though. It should be a fun season. There is always parity in the Whitepine League.

Coach's Team Outlook:
After an 0-9 season last year we can only improve, but this group of young men are hungry. They have been in the weight room over the summer and have committed to the program. They are a hungry and dangerous group of young men. The potential for a great season is there.

Coach's Team Summary:
"Our starting running back Jesse Davis lacerated his liver in a freak bicycle crash over the summer. Hopefully we have him ready to go before mid-season. Until then, we're looking to Cody Charley to fill his shoes until his return. We like our chances this season. Our numbers have been extremely low, but this season we are looking at 26 kids. They nearly made it to state in basketball last year and are looking to carry some of their court success onto the gridiron."
