Offensive strengths/areas for improvement: Great depth and experience at the offensive skill positions. Need to fill some holes on the OL and gel as a group.
Defensive strengths/areas for improvement: Experience at DL is great. Overall, we're very young and inexperienced on defense.
Special team Strengths: We should have a lot of kids who can run and hit. We must replace the all-state punter and kicker
Offensive Outlook: This should be the strength of our team with almost all of our skilled players returning, along with a few new kids who could make a splash.
Defensive Outlook: We're very young and inexperienced. We must mature in a hurry to be competetive. I think our defensive line could be pretty darn good.
Conference Outlook: Our conference is stacked. We will have to play amazing each week just to make the playoffs. Some of the teams that were young last year will add to the already stacked conference.
Coach's Team Outlook: We need to have some young, inexperienced players step up and grow up in a hurry. If we can fill some holes in the OL, we should be able to run the ball with a great group of running backs. We are hoping that our junior QB has a breakout year. We hope to build on last year's 8-3 record and return to the playoffs. Our league is very tough from top to bottom; it will be a battle every week.
Coach's Team Summary: Four of our coaches on staff have sons who play for our varsity or junior varsity football teams.
