Key Players Lost: QB Marcus Wood, RB Vinnie Angelos
Incoming JV Players: DL Shawn Wardian, QB Levi Altringer, WR Chance Carter
Offensive strengths/areas for improvement: We return 10 starters who understand all components of the offense. We need consistent play from all positions.
Defensive strengths/areas for improvement: We return 11 starters. Defense was a strength of our team last year. We need to move from an adequate defense to one that will play at the next level.
Special team Strengths: Consistency in all aspects is needed.
Offensive Outlook: We have athletes in several differnt positions. If our offensive line will be agressive and we will do the little things, we should be able to be effiecient on offense.
Defensive Outlook: It is important for our defense to challenge themselves to become a better defensive unit. If they will compete at that next level they will be one of the better defenses in the league.
Conference Outlook: Captial, Eagle, Centennial and Mt. View should be very good teams. The SIC is a very competitive league in which you have to be prepared each week. Our kids should have a bad taste in their mouth from last year, which should drive them to compete each week.
Coach's Team Summary: Our program needs to play at a higher level when competing. If we will compete like we are capable of we will be a good team.
