Offensive strengths/areas for improvement:
We have had a strong running game the last several years, but have struggled throwing the ball. We should be much improved throwing the ball this year with two dual-threat quarterbacks (Brody Isham and Zac Hansen) and better athletes at the receiving positions.
Defensive strengths/areas for improvement:
We're tough to run on right up the middle. We struggled defending the pass and getting stops on third and fourth down. Better team speed and experience should result in improvement in both areas.
Special team Strengths:
Our coverage teams did a fine job last season. We need to improve our return teams and find a kicker for extra points.
Offensive Outlook:
We should be more balanced, although we will still rely on a strong running game.
Defensive Outlook:
We want to be much more aggressive and disciplined than last season when we gave up too much yardage and big plays.
Conference Outlook:
The conference is up for grabs. The top three teams lost a lot of seniors while the bottom two teams return a lot of experience.
Coach's Team Summary:
Although we lost some talented seniors from last season we expect to be an improved team.
