"Julia Gould is a senior at Lapwai High School. She is the daughter of Aaron Gould and Jackie McArthur of Lenore.

She shared her senior season with younger sister and freshman Lauren Gould. Julia was co-captain of the Wildcat volleyball, basketball and cheer teams this year. Julia helped lead the volleyball team to regional playoffs and the 10th state title for the Wildcat basketball team her senior season.

She was named as Player of the Game during the 2019 state tournament following Lapwai's win against Rimrock. She also participates in track and field and softball. Julia was on the inaugural softball team for Lapwai after nearly 20 years before the sport's return.

Julia is the Lapwai Chapter Business Professionals of America president and national qualifier for the Torch Award. Julia was named salutatorian for the class of 2020. Julia has been accepted to 17 universities and colleges, including Gonzaga University, the College of Idaho and Portland State University. She will be committing to her school of choice in the near future."
