This Friday night one of the most anticipated games of the season takes place in Jerome. For those familiar with High School football rivalries, there are few bigger than Twin vs. Jerome. Even before the addition of Canyon Ridge High School, 5A Twin Falls and 4A Jerome were bitter foes. Now that they belong to the same conference, well, you can imagine how that has intensified. Sure, sometimes there is a lopsided score but sometimes there are heroics in overtime and even sometimes the game can be much more than a rivalry. This year, first place is on the line as the Tigers (1-0 in conference) host the Bruins (0-0 in conference) for what a lot of football coaches and media are billing as the one game that could determine the post season fates of both teams.
