Hagerman, ID ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Hagerman Senior Kade Kress has been named the Idaho State winner in the annual Wendy's High School Heisman competition.
Kress was selected out of 10 state finalists, and now moves on in hopes of being named 1 of 12 national finalists later in the year.
The Wendy's High School Heisman picks winners based on hard work, dedication in athletics, academics and community leadership.
Kress and his Hagerman Pirates play in the 1AD1 State Quarterfinals this weekend against Murtaugh at ISU's Holt Arena. That game will be broadcast LIVE on IdahoSports.com GameStreams.
