Where does the time go? The basketball season has FLOWN by for me (maybe since I'm having too much fun covering all sorts of games online for IdahoSports.com). Regardless, the 2015 Girls Real Dairy Shootout presented by the United Dairymen of Idaho and the IHSAA is here... and I personally couldn't be more excited to get into state tournament mode and cover these games.
I have been assigned to cover the 2A classification this season, one which could finish in any myriad of ways with the amount of balance in the classification. It should be a lot of fun at Bishop Kelly high school over the weekend.
With that, let's get on with my picks for the first day of action. The goal: just beat Paul Kingsbury's average (which isn't that hard to do anyways). And, as I mention each year, don't think I hate your team if I pick against them... I can only choose half of the teams in the tournament after all.
