What a fun tournament at Bishop Kelly HS this year! Quite a few of this year's games came down to the wire, which is exactly what you want in a state tournament.
This was my second straight year covering the 2A Girls Real Dairy Shootout and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There were great performances all around and a lot of well-played team basketball. I always enjoy watching kids succeed and seeing the things they can accomplish.
A quick thank-you to Tom Shanahan and the staff at Bishop Kelly HS. They did a wonderful job taking care of the IdahoSports.com crew (Brenton Van Tassell and myself) throughout the weekend. Also, a thanks to everyone who tuned in to the broadcasts and sent us shoutouts. We hope that you enjoyed our coverage!
I meant to post these all-tournament teams about three weeks ago, but life kind of caught up to me. I found myself smashed at the bottom of the pile of things I had put off doing during basketball season and needed to get caught up before I could do anything else. That included duties at home and at my full-time job at Riverbend Communications. So, I apologize for the lateness of this all-tournament team post.
Before I get to the all-tournament teams, I just want to point out that this is an IdahoSports.com All-Tournament Team. It is not in any way, shape, or form an official publication of the IHSAA. These teams are comprised of players who played in the 2A Real Dairy Shootout.
