The Wallace High School Miners are coming into the 2020 fall football season looking for a win.
The last time the Miners picked up a W was 63-24 against Lakeside in August 2018. After going 0-7 in the 2019 season, the team is on the hunt for its first victory in far too long.
The Miners return a collection of senior athletes but have plenty of young talent on the 2020 roster as well. Senior running back/linebacker Alex Field and Will Farkas return for the offense but come in with several younger players as well.
Wallace shifted to the Scenic Idaho 1AD1 Conference this season along with Lakeside this offseason. Due to the small size of the conference, the Miners will face teams from 1AD2 and matchup against Lakeside twice throughout the season.
