Borah 56, Rocky Mountain 44
Jake Paulin scored 13 as District III’s “E” seed Borah knocked off the district champ, Rocky Mountain, to return to the semifinals.
Rylan Bergersen also scored 13 for the Lions, while Mark Jerome added 11.
Borah took the lead by holding the Grizzlies to five second-quarter points, but it took a 24-point fourth quarter to finally put the game away.
Jacob Erickson scored 11 in the loss for Rocky Mountain.

Highland 63, Timberline 43
Stefan Gonzalez scored 20 to lead Highland to victory over Timberline.
Connor Harding had a double-double of 13 points and 14 rebounds, and Braydon West and Ben Cameron both added 11 points for the Rams, who never trailed in the game.
Bryce Gonser scored nine points and had seven rebounds in the loss for the Wolves.

Post Falls 52, Nampa 51
The Trojans came from behind, clipping the Bulldogs with a fourth-quarter rally.
Nampa led for most of the game, including by four after three quarters, but Post Falls put on a late surge to steal the win and advance to the semifinals.
Max McCullough scored 19 for Post Falls, while Jack Blakney added 10 points and eight rebounds.
In the loss for Nampa, Kooper Wilcox had 17 points, Blaine Roberts added 13 and J.D. Schutt scored 12.

Capital 59, Skyline 39
Derrick White scored 21 as defending champion Capital breezed past Skyline.
Cameron Godney-Scott scored 16 points and added nine rebounds for the Eagles, who raced away from Skyline in the third quarter by outscoring the Grizzlies 15-2.
Mason Baker scored a game-high 22 points in the loss for Skyline.

Twin Falls 68, Century 65, OT
Braden Stutzman scored 27 points as defending champion Twin Falls held off Century’s rally and beat the Diamondbacks in the state tournament for the sixth straight year.
Jonah Lutz added 18 points and Landon Jones added 10 for the Bruins, who led by seven in the fourth quarter but couldn’t put Century away in regulation.
Malek Harwell had 22 points and eight rebounds for Century, before fouling out in overtime.
Grant Foulger scored 19 points and Leo Behrend added 11 for the Diamondbacks.
Idaho Sports Player of the Game: Braden Stutzman, Twin Falls.

Bishop Kelly 54, Middleton 44
David Poulsen scored 15 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as Bishop Kelly knocked off Middleton.
Bronson King scored 12 off the bench for the Knights.
Joseph Valencia led Middleton with 15 points.
Bishop Kelly shook the Vikings for good in the second half, playing out with a double-figure lead for most of the fourth quarter.

Mountain Home 47, Lakeland 32
Jymon Garretson scored 12 to lead Mountain Home past Lakeland and into the semifinals.
Jarek Schetzle scored 11 and pulled in nine rebounds for the Tigers, while Tyler Park added 10 points.
It was a five-point game after three quarters, but Mountain Home dropped 22 points in the final eight minutes to put the game away.
Tyrel Derrick scored 15 points in the loss for Lakeland.

Rigby 56, Burley 46
Nick Huston scored 21 points as Rigby outlasted Burley in a wild battle.
Tyrel Phillips scored 11 and pulled in 15 rebounds, while Haydn Landon added 10 for the Trojans, who survived in a game that saw 10 lead changes and six ties.
Rigby outscored Burley 24-16 in the fourth quarter to break open a two-point game after three quarters. The lead ballooned to 17 in the final period.
Mackinley Quast scored nine to lead Burley.

Weiser 46, Kellogg 40
Alberto Sanchez scored 14 points as Weiser fended off Kellogg to reach the semifinals.
Evan Loomis added 10 points and seven rebounds for the Wolverines, who led by 13 at halftime but had to withstand the Wildcats’ rally.
Tucker Gust scored 12 points and seven rebounds for Kellogg, while Gus Colburn added 11 points.

Buhl 66, Parma 46
Buhl shook off a scare on the way to Meridian, then took care of Parma on the court.
Michael Lively scored 16 points and pulled in 13 rebounds for the defending champion Indians. 
Ryan Loveless scored 17 points and Hayden Eckert added 14.
Buhl’s bus was involved in an accident on the way to the state tournament. 
Parker Lewis scored 12 points and Payton Pinz added 11 for Parma.
The Indians led by as many as 21 and never trailed in the game.

Shelley 63, Fruitland 49
Tyler Fredrickson scored 17 and pulled in eight rebounds to lead Shelley past Fruitland.
The Russets shackled Fruitland in the first half, building a 14-point halftime lead they would never concede.
Carter Cannon scored 13 points and added 10 rebounds for Shelley.
For Fruitland, Walker Whaley scored 12 points and Tyler Eiguren added 11.

South Fremont 55, Marsh Valley 37
Con Bauer scored 14 points and pulled in 10 rebounds as South Fremont booked a semifinal date with league rival Shelley.
Blake Bartschi added 15 points for the Cougars, who pulled away in the second half after going into the locker room up just two points.
Tyler Dunn scored nine points in the loss for Marsh Valley.

2A
Soda Springs 69, Nampa Christian 31
Riley Yamauchi scored 18 points and added eight rebounds as the Cardinals blew out the Trojans.
Soda Springs rolled early, piling up an 11-point halftime lead and then putting the game away in the third quarter by adding 16 to the margin.
Ridge Thompson scored 12 for the Cardinals in the win.
Peyton Brothers scored 14 in the loss for Nampa Christian.

St. Maries 58, Declo 54
Jacob Greer led a balanced Lumberjack offense, scoring 12 points in the win.
Eight St. Maries players scored in the game, five of them landing between 6 and 9 points.  Logan Feasline had seven points and 11 rebounds for the Lumberjacks.
Jackson Duncan scored 11 to lead Declo in the loss.
The game was played tightly throughout, before St. Maries pulled away late and stretched the lead to as many as 12 points.

Firth 61, Grangeville 50
Zak Johnson scored 16 points to lead four players in double figures as defending champion Firth outlasted Grangeville.
The Bulldogs got a herculean effort from Michael Wilson, who scored 31 points and added seven rebounds in the loss.
Braydon Adams and Dallan Bingham both scored 15 for the Cougars, while Lucas Orme added 11.
Firth pulled away in the second half – the game was tied at intermission.

West Jefferson 54, Melba 42
Benson Briggs scored 16 points and had 15 rebounds as the Panthers set up a semifinal with conference rival Firth.
Hardley Edelmayer scored 18 points in the win, while Connor Skidmore scored eight points and added 10 rebounds for West Jefferson.
The Panthers took command of the game in the second quarter and extended their lead from there.
Chris Young scored nine in the loss for Melba.

1A-I
Oakley 42, Genesee 38
Jordan Cranney scored 15 points and pulled in seven rebounds as upstart Oakley outlasted tournament-experienced Genesee. 
The Hornets led by eight with four minutes remaining but Genesee battled back to take the lead. Hewstyn Beck’s 3-pointer gave Oakley the lead for good, sending the Hornets onto the semifinals.
Conner Phillips scored 13 points and Rhett Stout added 11 for Genesee.

Lapwai 60, Liberty Charter 29
Courage LoneBear scored 26 points as Lapwai ran away from Liberty Charter in the second half.
The Wildcats led by just four at halftime but blitzed the Patriots for 38 points after the break, including a 23-3 margin in the fourth quarter.
Cameron Shawl scored 16 for Lapwai in the win.
Nathan Gardner scored 10 points and Levi Pfeiffer had nine points and 10 rebounds for Liberty Charter.

Valley 50, Challis 32
Ben Taylor scored 18 points and Valley put Challis away with second-quarter burst.
Valley stretched its lead from 3 to 15 in the final three minutes of the first half, and Challis got no closer after that.
Mike Elorrieta had 11 points and seven rebounds for Valley.
Brandon Hamilton scored 14 points for Challis in the loss, while Tommy Herrick added 10 points.

Prairie 64, Ambrose 48
Lucas Arnzen scored 22 points and pulled in 10 rebounds as defending champion Prairie ran away from Ambrose.
Rhett Schlader scored 15 points and had nine rebounds for the Pirates, while Jake Bruner added 11 points and 10 rebounds. Tanner Ross also had 10 points for Prairie.
There were five lead changes in the battle between the media’s top two-ranked teams, but Prairie won each quarter and steadily pulled away.
Travis Yenor had 26 points and 10 rebounds in the loss for the Archers.

1A-II
Dietrich 87, Lakeside 58
Austin Fenstermaker scored 23 points and pulled in 25 rebounds as Dietrich put up a record single-game point total for the 1A-II tournament.
Trey Dill scored 19 despite battling foul trouble, and three other Dietrich players hit double figures: Garrett Astle had 13 points, Jake Smith 11 and Kyle Perron 10.
For Lakeside, Hunter Kolar had 24 points, Takoda Abrahamson added 14 and Jordan Nilson had 11.
Idaho Sports Player of the Game: Austin Fenstermaker, Dietrich.

Rockland 41, Council 29
Rex Permann had 14 points and seven rebounds as Rockland continued its miserly defensive record at Council’s expense.
Council scored 13 points in the first seven minutes of the game, and just six in the next 23. All 10 of Council’s fourth-quarter points came in the final 2½ minutes, when Rockland was up 19. 
Spencer Permann added 10 points for Rockland, while J.R. Mahon had 10 points and 11 rebounds in the loss for Council.

Mackay 49, Logos 46
Mackay rallied from five points down with a minute left to stun Logos and advance to the semifinals.
Pat Magee had 14 points to pace Mackay, while Wes Roscoe added 12 points and 15 rebounds. Naylan Whitworth had 10 points for the Miners.
Levi Wintz had a game-high 23 points in the loss for the Knights, while Andrew Handel added 13.

Carey 52, Summit Academy 40
Nate Adamson scored 22 points and pulled in six rebounds to lead Carey to the semifinals.
Matt Whitworth added a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds to give the Panthers a complement to Adamson’s scoring acumen.
Summit led after one quarter but Carey took command in the middle periods.
Tyler Krogh and Thomas Schwartz each scored 10 in the loss for the Patriots.
